Bike Handlebars

Handlebar choice comes down to preference as much as it does practicality. Different grips can define different riding positions, so consider what you’ll be spending most of your time on the bike doing. If you’re commuting, will you be riding among city traffic? Riser bars and flat bars offer more relaxed and upright positioning on the road which can make it easier to control the bike. Drop bars are the norm for road riding, allowing several positions that help with sprints, climbing and comfort over longer distances. Bullhorn and pursuit bars are a good in-between—multiple grip options to choose from for comfort and a further reach out that allows you to really get out of the saddle.
